![]() I’m super lazy and when my programs start talking to each other – I’m real happy!! Day: In short, I find one note the easy answer to the issue of "Your mind is is for having ideas, not storing them." It's not perfect for everything (for example, the family shares a google keep list for groceries), but as my own personal dumping ground from my melon, it works great.#Office365Challenge I’ve written a couple of blogs about OneNote and this is something cool to use. Ideas and web links for home projects, documentation or manuals for stuff around the house, nerdy fantasy league stuff, a diary, etc. Helpful for Sandbox games (No Man's Sky, Minecraft) or MMO's when you want to keep track of what you are doing, and what you're working on. Personal stuff - a gaming log/diary of what I've been playing. It sort of freaked my boss out when she asked, "Are you waiting on anything, or need anything from me?" and I told her I have a list with her name on it. When I see them, I'll check that page, and gab with them about what I had on my mind, then move the result to another area of my organization. Basically pages for individual people in my life if I think of something I need to discuss with them I'll add it to the list. GTD - Getting Things Done - context list - this is both in my personal and professional OneNotes. Nerdy tid bit - I keep my todo list with each individual meeting/project, then generate a summary page of the todos - helps me figure out what needs to be done, and a quick glance helps me prioritize My nerdy notes are collected Excel functions and formulas, canned responses for routine tasks, and there's a work log in there as "cover my own butt" in case someone wants to know what I was working on in any given day Between that and atomic fireballs, I stay awake for most meetings. I keep work in one Notebook so I only have one place I need to search. ![]() Note taking for work - BORING - but I have major tabs for meetings, projects, nerdy note for myself, an archive, and a todo. I do IT work and I dabble at bullet journaling, but I tend to think better with my fingertips rather than pen and paper, so here's some of the nerdy stuff I do: ![]()
